Protein and Nutrition

The good stuff!

Let’s start off with something easy. Eggs contain high-quality protein with all of the essential amino acids. ALL OF THEM! We would type them all out, but it’s hard to pronounce them, let alone spell. [Okay, fine: histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, and valine.]

6 G's a pop!

Eggs boast 6 grams of protein a pop. Research shows that eating meals with 20-40 grams of protein, such as egg protein, helps promote muscle protein synthesis. Time to eat a few protein bombs and hit the gym!

Yolks too!

Don’t skip the good stuff. Nearly half of the egg’s protein is in the yolk. So eat the whole
egg for all the protein gains!
